1. Introduction
Bimetal lined pipe consists of one base pipe and one liner pipe. Carbon steel pipe is generally used as the base pipe, which is responsible to withstand the outside pressure. And the liner pipe is produced by using the corrosion-resistant alloy of stainless steel, titanium alloy, copper, aluminum, etc. The characteristic is that the layer between pipes is combined closely, and these two metal pipes will be bending simultaneously if they were impacted by outside force. Xi'an Sunward always manufactures bimetal clad or lined pipes as what the standard requires. Xi'an Sunward strictly executes the standards of testing and inspection of API 5LD and DNV-OS-F101, and we own complete test and inspection machines which can cover 100% of the stipulated items of inspections.



Bimetal lined pipe is a safe, mature and economic product, and it possesses technical and economic advantages compared with carbon steel pipe and CRA pipe. As the majority of the oil or gas fields that are to be developed have a large number of corrosive elements, the corrosion-resistance property of the steel material can be decisive for this issue. Carbon steel pipe can be one option, but corrosion problems and the maintenance cost in the future can be unimaginably high. Meanwhile, CRA pipe is several times more expensive than the lined pipe, and most of the field owners reject to use it for considering the huge cost. Thus, CRA lined pipe can solve each of the problems. By using the carbon steel as the base pipe, the total cost of the lined pipe can be controlled to a certain lower level, and the liner pipe can sufficiently guarantee the corrosion-resistance property. 

2. Specification
